About WAIOS™

Our mission is to make the quality of people's lives the measure of success, starting at work.

WAIOS, P.B.C. is a women-founded public benefit corporation. We combine decades of wellbeing research with hands-on work inside organizations to help leaders measure how their people are really doing and act on it.

The founders

Two of the most experienced voices in workplace wellbeing, on the same team.

Danielle Posa

Danielle Posa

Co-Founder and CEO

Nearly two decades making wellbeing a measurable business strategy.

Danielle began her career at Gallup as a management consultant to Fortune 500 companies, working on employee engagement, leadership and organizational performance. She was there when Gallup first turned its measurement rigor toward wellbeing, and she became the direct liaison between Gallup's wellbeing research and Deepak Chopra.

She went on to co-develop and co-lead the Workplace Wellbeing and Soul of Leadership program with Deepak, and later served as Director of Enterprise Solutions at Chopra Global. She has guest lectured on wellbeing in business at the Kellogg School of Management and Columbia University, and served as Vice Chair of the Workplace Wellbeing Initiative at the Global Wellness Institute.

For more than a decade she has advised CEOs and executive teams on embedding wellbeing into culture, people strategy and business strategy, at companies including LinkedIn, Comcast, AstraZeneca, Petco and Panera Bread. A childhood cancer survivor, she gave her first keynote at fifteen.

Jennifer Moss

Jennifer Moss

Co-Founder and Chief Research and Strategy Officer

One of the most recognized voices in the world on burnout.

Jennifer is an award-winning journalist, author and workplace culture strategist. She has written three books for Harvard Business Review Press: Unlocking Happiness at Work, The Burnout Epidemic, named by Thinkers50 one of the 10 Best New Management Books of 2022, and Why Are We Here?, which received the 2025 Outstanding Works of Literature Award and was named one of Big Think's Top 10 Management Books of 2025.

She writes for Harvard Business Review, Fast Company and Fortune, is a nationally syndicated radio columnist, and has delivered more than 750 keynotes to Fortune 100 companies, governments and healthcare systems. She is a former member of the Global Happiness Council in partnership with Gallup and co-founded Plasticity Labs, one of the earliest technologies built to measure employee wellbeing at scale.

Her honors include Canadian Innovator of the Year, a Public Service Award from the Office of President Obama, and Toastmasters' Golden Gavel for 2026.

Why together

One of us knows what lifts people up. The other knows what wears them down.

Danielle · The upside
What helps people, and the organizations they work for, thrive. Shaped by her own experience as a cancer survivor and years of learning alongside Deepak Chopra, she brings the full picture of wellbeing and how work shapes it.
Jennifer · The downside
What erodes wellbeing at work. She knows the barriers that wear people down, cause burnout and hold organizations back, and how to remove them.
Both research obsessed. Both deeply committed. Both here to change how work shapes people’s lives.
Our vision

A world where every person, organization, city and nation can see how well its people are living, and act on it.

As a public benefit corporation, the quality of people's lives is written into why we exist, not added on. Measuring it well, inside organizations first, is how we get there.
